Sherman Joseph, age 79 of St. Louis Park, died peacefully after a blessed weekend surrounded by family and loved ones.

He charmed those around him with his magnetic personality, wits of steel, and heart of gold.

Preceded in death by wife, Rieva Davis Orensten ; parents Hannah & Keva, siblings, Sam, Ruth and Pearly Orenstein and Dorothy Woldorsky.

Survived by children, Eddie (Zippy), Lloyd (Cindi), Marty and Myrna; grandchildren, David (Sommer), Josh, Nathan, Naomi and Rebekah; special friend, Clarice Zuckman; sister, Rose Hecker-Rosenfield.

Sherman 's love for junk made it fun to own Chicago Iron & Supplies, Ashland, Wis.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Hodroff-Epste in Memorial Chapel, 126 E. Franklin Ave., Mpls. Internment will follow in Duluth at Tifereth Israel Cemetery, Howard Gnesen Rd, Duluth. Memorials preferred to Temple Israel (Uouth Fund) Hodroff-Epstein 612-871-1234.
